Two Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash at El Paso Street and South San Eduardo Avenue near South General McMullen Drive

San Antonio, Texas (January 2, 2022) – Two people in their 30s were critically injured early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The accident occurred just after midnight, January 1, at the intersection of El Paso Street and South San Eduardo Avenue, near South General McMullen Drive.

Authorities said two people were trying to light fireworks when they were struck by a vehicle.

The driver fled the scene on foot after the accident.

Both victims were critically injured in the accident.

No other details were available.

An investigation is underway.
