Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on South WW White Road in San Antonio

Man Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Accident on South WW White Road near Interstate 10

San Antonio, Texas (January 19, 2023) – A man died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday morning in San Antonio, San Antonio police said.

The crash happened at around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, in the 200 block of South WW White Road, just south of Interstate 10.

According to witnesses, the man was staggering across South WW White Road when he was hit by a vehicle, possibly an SUV.

The man, who is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Police closed the road in both directions during the investigation.
