15-Year-Old Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at Hamilton Avenue and Buena Vista Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 28, 2021) – A 15-year-old boy was critically injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m., at the intersection of S. Hamilton Avenue and Buena Vista Street.

Police said an SUV ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into the side of a pickup truck.

The 15-year-old boy was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the pickup truck. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The SUV driver fled the scene after the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
