Carrol Jorgenson Killed in Port Aransas Plane Crash at Mustang Beach Airport

Port Aransas, Texas (April 26, 2021) – The pilot who was killed Saturday afternoon in a plane crash that left two other people injured in Port Aransas has been identified as Carrol V. Jorgenson, 76, of Corpus Christi, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 1:15 p.m., April 24, at Mustang Beach Airport.

Authorities said Jorgenson was flying a light aircraft when it crashed at the airport.

Jorgenson was killed in the crash. His two passengers, a 40-year-old man, and an eight-year-old child were ejected from the aircraft and were taken to Corpus Christi hospitals in serious but stable conditions.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
