Man Hospitalized after Garland Pedestrian Accident on Action Street

Garland, Texas (May 10, 2019) – A man was severely injured in a hit-and-run accident on Thursday afternoon in Garland, according to police.
The collision happened in the 13400 block of Action Street at about 12:45 p.m. May 9.
Police said the man was on a ladder trying to secure a vehicle onto a trailer when a blue 2006 Toyota Sienna struck him.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, was rushed to a hospital with a severe head injury.
The driver of the Toyota stopped and checked on the victim then fled the scene. The driver was later located and arrested.
The crash is under investigation.
