One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway at Wayside Drive

Houston, Texas (February 13, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night in Houston, according to the police.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 p.m., February 12, on East Freeway at Wayside Drive.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.

The victim was declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway.

No further information was available.

An investigation is ongoing.
