Woman Killed in Houston Crash on Rogerdale Road

Houston, Texas (December 1, 2022) – A woman died after she was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday evening in southwest Houston, according to police.

The deadly crash took place in the 2900 block of Rogerdale Road on November 30.

Police said the driver of a vehicle hit the gas pedal accidentally and struck a woman who was entering a United States Postal Service office. The vehicle ended up against the back wall.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was declared dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Alcohol was not considered a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
