Car Driver Injured in Copperas Cove 18-Wheeler Crash on U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14 Bypass
Copperas Cove, Texas (July 29, 2019) – A driver was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a big rig on Monday morning in Copperas Cove, according to the DPS.
The crash took place on U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14 Bypass at around 6:30 a.m.
DPS said a Hyundai sedan traveling westbound on the highway drifted into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 18-wheeler.
The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The DPS is investigating the incident.
