Child Ejected after Corpus Christi Car Crash on South Padre Island Drive

Corpus Christi, Texas (August 11, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that caused a child to be ejected from one of the cars on Saturday evening in Corpus Christi.

According to a police report, the crash took place just before 6 p.m. Saturday, August 10, on South Padre Island Drive.

Police said a child got ejected when one of the vehicles flipped. Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

The girl was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries. There were other people who were hospitalized after the crash.

Police said one driver will be cited for failure to yield to the right-of-way and another for not restraining a child.
