Police Officer Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 and New Braunfels

San Antonio, Texas – A police officer was injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 9:12 a.m., December 27, at the intersection of Interstate 35 and New Braunfels.

Authorities said the officer was responding to a call for an accident when he was involved in a collision with an SUV at the intersection.

The officer was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

The female driver of the SUV was not seriously injured. A bicyclist in the initial accident the officer was responding to nearby also suffered non-serious injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
