Officer Injured in DWI Crash on Southeast Military Drive in San Antonio; Woman Arrested

Officer Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Southeast Military Drive and Roosevelt Avenue; Woman Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (November 24, 2021) – A police officer was injured early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m., at the intersection of Southeast Military Drive and Roosevelt Avenue.

Police said a woman was driving a pickup truck when she crashed into a San Antonio Police Street Crimes officer at the intersection.

The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
