Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Little York Road near Nordling Road

Houston, Texas (April 22, 2023) – A woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in north Houston, according to Houston police.

The fatal crash happened at about 1:00 a.m. on East Little York Road near Nordling Road.

Police said the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The details on the description of the vehicle or suspect were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
