Donald Langston Killed in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on South Congress Avenue

Austin, Texas (January 8, 2021) – The man who was killed last month in a pedestrian accident in South Austin has been identified as Donald Langston, 55, according to the Austin Police Department.

The deadly accident occurred on December 30, in the 7200 block of South Congress Avenue.

According to a preliminary investigation, Langston stepped into the roadway and was struck by a southbound white 2003 BMW X5.

Langston was pronounced dead at the scene.

The BMW driver remained at the scene and was not impaired at the time of the crash.

The APD is investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-6873.
