Woman Killed in Bellaire Scooter Accident on Bissonnet Street near Mapleridge Street

Bellaire, Texas (July 21, 2019) – A woman was killed Friday morning in a scooter accident in Bellaire, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident took place around 9:00 a.m. July 19, on Bissonnet Street near Mapleridge Street.

As per the release, a woman was riding her scooter out of a private driveway when she was hit by a truck.

The woman was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed.

The truck driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
