Passenger Killed in Clear Lake Car Crash on Pineloch Drive and Galveston Road

Clear Lake, Texas (March 2, 2019) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision involving two suspected drunk drivers left one passenger dead in Clear Lake early Friday morning, according to the police.
The accident occurred at about 1 a.m. March 1, near Pineloch Drive and Galveston Road.
Police said a man was driving a Dodge pickup truck on Galveston Road when he sideswiped a vehicle. He then went through the intersection and crashed into a sedan.
Another pickup truck also traveled through the intersection and struck the Ford.
A passenger in the sedan was killed in the crash. The sedan driver was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
The driver of the second truck was arrested on charges of DUI.
The investigation is ongoing.
