David Rubrecht Killed in Car Crash on Toepperwein Road in San Antonio

David Rubrecht Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Toepperwein Road near Roma Azul

San Antonio, Texas (September 5, 2021) – The man who was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Northeast Side has been identified as 65-year-old David Rubrecht, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

The deadly accident happened around 5:40 a.m., September 3, on Toepperwein Road near Roma Azul.

Authorities said Rubrecht was driving a silver Ford Fusion westbound when he hit a trailer of a truck that was turning eastbound out of the San Antonio Auto Auction parking lot.

Rubrecht was taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
