Thomas Warren Killed in Polk County Motorcycle Crash on US 190 at Park Road 56

Polk County, Texas (June 20, 2021) – One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Polk County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 2:30 p.m., June 19, at the intersection of US 190 and Park Road 56.

DPS said a 2021 Nissan SUV was traveling westbound on US 190 while a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound.

The Nissan driver attempted to turn left onto Park Road 56 in front of the motorcycle and failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist, 49-year-old Thomas Warren from Woodville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Nissan driver, 62-year-old James Harris from Houston, was treated and released at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
