Two Injured in Spring Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45(North Freeway); Jayla Boyd Arrested

Spring, Texas (September 13, 2020) – Two people were injured on Saturday after a chase ended in a crash in Spring, according to DPS.

The crash was reported on September 12, on the North Freeway (Interstate 45) at Louetta Road.

DPS said a chase started as a traffic stop in Montgomery County when the driver who was being pursued, 20-year-old Jayla Boyd, crashed into two vehicles on the southbound side of I-45.

Boyd was uninjured in the crash. Two people from the other vehicles sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Boyd was charged with evading and possession of marijuana.

An investigation is underway.
