Man Killed in Jacksonville Pedestrian Accident on South Lane Avenue near Interstate 10

Jacksonville, Texas (December 13, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night in Jacksonville, according to deputies.

The deadly accident occurred around 11:40 p.m., December 12, on South Lane Avenue near I-10.

Deputies said a vehicle was traveling northbound when it struck a man on the roadway.

The vehicle fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The authorities are looking for the involved vehicle and the driver.
