Copperas Cove, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday in a crash in Copperas Cove, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:29 p.m., April 7, in the 1200 block of the US 190 bypass.

According to the police, witnesses said 29-year-old Brandon Wayne Fitzwater of Kempner, Texas, was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a car.

Fitzwater was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center where he later died.

The Copperas Cove PD is investigating the crash.
