Man Injured in Tomball Bicycle Accident on Medical Complex Drive at Highway 249 Business
Tomball, Texas – A bicyclist was injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a patrol car in Tomball, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
The accident happened around 10:10 a.m., May 1, at the intersection of Medical Complex Drive and Highway 249 Business.
Deputies said a man in his 70s was riding a bicycle southbound on Highway 249 Business when he ran a red light and collided with a patrol car that was traveling westbound on Medical Complex Drive, and had a green light.
The man was ejected from the bicycle onto the car and he rolled on the ground. He was airlifted to the hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information was available.
The deputies are investigating the crash.
