One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident near Texas Avenue and Broadway Street

Lubbock, Texas (September 22, 2022) – One person was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident happened around 3:12 p.m., September 21, near the intersection of Texas Avenue and Broadway Street.

Police said a person was struck by a vehicle near the intersection.

The person was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The accident closed the eastbound lanes on Broadway at Texas Avenue and the southbound lanes of Texas Avenue at Broadway.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
