One Killed in Richmond Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2977

Richmond, Texas (January 12, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Richmond, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash took place just before 8:00 p.m. January 11, on FM 2977 between Koeblen Road and Powerline Road.

Deputies said two vehicles were traveling southbound on FM 2977 when the vehicle in front tried to make a U-turn and was T-boned by the other vehicle.

The driver who was making the U-turn was declared dead at the scene. A child in the backseat was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed FM 2977 between Koeblen and Powerline.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
