Man Killed in Far South Bexar County Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 1604 at Applewhite Road

Bexar County, Texas (November 25, 2021) – A man was killed early Thursday morning in a head-on collision in Far South Bexar County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened just before 5:00 a.m., in the area of Loop 1604 and Applewhite Road.

Deputies said a small Mitsubishi crossed the double yellow line and crashed head-on into an 18-wheeler.

The Mitsubishi driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The semi-truck driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
