Aurora Canales ID’d as Woman Killed in Carrollton Crash at Marsh Lane and Dove Creek Lane

Carrollton, Texas (October 27, 2022) – The woman who died following a hit-and-run crash on Monday evening in Carrollton has been identified as Aurora Lizeth Canales.

The tragic accident took place near the intersection of Marsh Lane and Dove Creek Lane on Monday, October 24.

Canales was driving home from the grocery store. Five of her children were on board. As they were approaching the intersection of Marsh Lane and Dove Creek Lane, the driver a red Camaro lost control and collided head-on with the family’s van.

Canales was pronounced dead at the scene. Three of the children were transported to a local hospital.

The driver of the Camaro fled the scene after the crash. Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
