Austin, TX – One person was killed early Thursday morning in a wrong-way collision in North Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
The deadly collision occurred around 2:15 a.m. on September 18 in the 12200 block of North Interstate Highway 35 near Tech Ridge Boulevard.
Police said a passenger vehicle was traveling on the opposite side of the highway when it collided with an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was killed in the accident. Their identity has not been released.
No other details were released.
The police are investigating the accident.
