Houston, TX.  – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on Monday in Houston.

According to the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Sam Houston Tollway at Greenspoint Drive.

Four vehicles were involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.

One person was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

The collision blocked the eastbound lanes of the highway as the scene was cleared.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
