Denton, TX – A woman was killed and her husband was injured Friday night in a DWI accident in Denton, according to the police.

The fatal accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on August 15 on Windsor Drive at Northway, near Bonnie Brae Street.

Police said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Windsor and was turning onto Northway when it was hit on the passenger’s side by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Windsor.

Both occupants of the westbound vehicle, a married couple, and the driver of the eastbound vehicle, Noah Kendrick, 22, were taken to a local hospital.

The woman, who was in her 50s, later died at the hospital. Her name has not been released. Her husband was treated.

Kendrick was found to have been intoxicated and was arrested after being released from the hospital. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was taken to the City of Denton Jail.

Intoxication and speed were factors in the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
