One person killed in a car accident on East Slaughter Lane near Congress Avenue

Austin, TX. – One person was killed in a vehicle accident early Friday morning in Austin.
The deadly collision happened around 4:05 a.m. in the 100 block of East Slaughter Lane near Congress Avenue.
A vehicle reportedly left the roadway and crashed into a power pole.
The solo occupant of the vehicle was killed in the accident.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
