Brownsville, TX. – A 49-year-old Brownsville man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday evening in Brownsville.
According to the Brownsville Police Department, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 6500 block of Padre Island Highway.
The man was crossing the roadway when he was struck by the vehicle.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
