Ector County, TX. – A teenager was killed in a car accident that happened near Goldsmith in Ector County on Saturday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Farm-to-Market Road 866 near YT Ranch Road.
The 17-year-old was driving a 2006 Chrysler 300 north on the highway when the car failed to maintain a single lane, veered off the roadway, and rolled over.
The unidentified teen was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
