Harlingen, TX. – A 22-year-old motorcyclist died in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday night in Harlingen.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of Grimes Avenue and Loop 499 at around 10 p.m.
A motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the collision, but the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
