Houston, TX – A person was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in southwest Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on September 5 on Country Creek near Club Creek Drive.
Police said Yimmy Ulloa-Padilla, 20, was driving southbound when he hit a person who was walking.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
Ulloa-Padilla fled the scene, and his car was found about four miles from the scene. He was arrested and charged with DWI and failing to stop and render aid.
The police are investigating the accident.
