League City, TX – A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident in League City, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m. on September 16 in the 3300 block of W. Main.
Police said a man was struck by a late-model gray Toyota Tundra and another vehicle.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died on Wednesday, September 17. His name has not been released.
The driver of the Tundra, James Collins Jr., 62, fled the scene and was later arrested and charged in connection with the accident. He was taken into custody.
The other driver remained at the scene.
The police are investigating the accident.
