A man was walking across the road and was hit by a 2018 Dodge Charger traveling west.

Nueces County, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car early Saturday morning in Nueces County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 4:20 a.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 665 near mile marker 554.
A man was walking across the road and was hit by a 2018 Dodge Charger traveling west.
The unidentified man died at the accident scene.
The driver, 20-year-old John Lopez, of Corpus Christi, briefly left the scene but later returned and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
