San Antonio, TX. – A 56-year-old Florida man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday night in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio police, the accident occurred on Interstate 10 near mile marker 470 at around 6:30 p.m.
The man was driving his 2017 Toyota pickup when he was struck by another vehicle and veered into a ditch.
The collision resulted in a chain reaction crash involving nine other vehicles.
A towed trailer detached from a truck tractor landed on a Toyota pickup.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Police say road conditions were icy, with snow or sleet falling at the time of the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
