The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene

Silsbee, TX. – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Monday evening in Silsbee.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Business U.S. Highway 96.
A 2015 Ram 2500 pickup traveling south attempted to turn left onto Old Beaumont Highway and collided with a 2007 Triumph Daytona motorcycle that was traveling north.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
More details about the accident were not released.
