The fatal accident happened around 2:45 a.m., July 1, in the 9900 block of Westpark Drive.

Houston, TX – A man has been arrested in connection with the two-vehicle accident that left one person dead early Tuesday morning in Houston, according to the police.
Wilian Lopez Fonseca, 30, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
The fatal accident happened around 2:45 a.m., July 1, in the 9900 block of Westpark Drive.
Police said a white Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed and was possibly racing another vehicle, believed to be a pink INFINITI Q50. It failed to maintain a single lane and struck a westbound black Ford F-450.
The INFINITI was located abandoned near the accident scene.
The Chevrolet driver, Wilian Lopez Fonseca, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The front-seat passenger in the Chevrolet, a female, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The back-seat passenger in the Chevrolet was taken to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.
No injuries were reported in the Ford.
Fonseca was later arrested and charged in connection with the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
