Austin, TX – One person was seriously injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Austin, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred around 4:00 p.m., June 19, in the 12000 block of North Interstate 35 near Tech Ridge Boulevard.
Authorities said the accident involved a truck and a sedan.
One person was pinned in the wreckage and had to be rescued.
An adult was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed all southbound lanes of I-35 and the left northbound lane. The lanes were reopened just before 6:00 p.m.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
