Lavaca County, TX – Two people were killed early Friday morning in a head-on collision in Lavaca County, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision happened around 6:15 a.m. on July 25 on U.S. Highway 90 about three miles east of Hallettsville.
Authorities said Gregory James Dartez, 55, was driving on the highway when another driver, a 16-year-old, crossed into his lane, resulting in a collision.
The impact caused Dartez’s vehicle to run off the road and roll over.
Two people were killed in the collision.
