Houston, TX – Two people, including a US Marshal, were injured on Tuesday in a multi-vehicle accident in Houston, according to a local news source.
The accident happened around 6:53 p.m. on September 16 on I-10(East Freeway) near Uvalde Road.
According to the report, a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into another vehicle. The vehicle that was struck went airborne over the median and hit cars, which were traveling in the opposite direction.
Five vehicles were involved in the collision.
At least one person was trapped in the wreckage.
One driver was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital in unknown condition.
A US Marshal sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The accident closed East Freeway at Uvalde, but it has since been reopened.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
