Irving, TX. – Two patrons were injured after a car crashed into a restaurant on Tuesday evening in Irving.
According to local police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 8300 block of North MacArthur Boulevard.
Police say the driver of a vehicle that was parked outside the restaurant mistakenly put the car into drive instead of reverse and crashed through the front of the restaurant.
Two people inside the restaurant were injured and were treated at the scene by the firefighters.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
