Amarillo, TX. – Two juveniles were hospitalized after being injured in a Monday afternoon collision involving an APD officer in Amarillo.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, the accident happened on Russell Street near SE 10th Avenue at around 2:30 p.m.
An APD motor officer was traveling northbound on Russell Street when it struck two juveniles on a dirt bike.
The juveniles were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The APD officer was also hospitalized in an unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
