The fatal collision happened around 4:30 p.m. on August 17 in the 12000 block of Fischer Road just east of Interstate 35.

San Antonio, TX – Two people were killed and two others were severely injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 4:30 p.m. on August 17 in the 12000 block of Fischer Road just east of Interstate 35.
Police said a man was driving a black Ford Mustang sports car westbound at a high rate of speed towards I-35 when he lost control and crashed into a silver Ford Fusion sedan.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.
Two passengers, one from each vehicle, were taken to local hospitals with severe injuries.
Speed was a factor in the collision.
The collision closed both sides of Fischer Road for several hours.
The police are investigating the collision.
