Parker County, TX – Two people were killed Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision in Azle, Parker County, according to the police.
The fatal collision was reported around 1:30 p.m. on September 23 in the 13000 block of FM 730.
Police said a vehicle was traveling northbound on the highway when it collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle and a passenger in the northbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.
Two other people were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Another person was evaluated for injuries at the scene.
The collision closed the southbound and northbound lanes of the highway.
The collision remains under investigation.
