Three Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on South Jackson Street
San Angelo, Texas – Three people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m., January 30, in front of Walmart on South Jackson Street at the intersection of Town and Country Road, Ben Ficklin Road, and South Bryant.
Police said an orange passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on South Bryant while a black Altima was trying to turn left into the Walmart parking lot across South Bryant.
The Altima failed to yield the right of way to the orange passenger vehicle, and the vehicles collided at the intersection.
The 74-year-old female driver of the Altima and a 56-year-old male passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 37-year-old female driver of the orange passenger vehicle was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Altima driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way turning left.
The roads were dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
