Houston, TX. – At least three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday morning in Houston.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on US-290 near West Road.
The driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of their vehicle and hit the steering axle of the 18-wheeler carrying a full load of bricks on a trailer.
The impact of the collision caused the 18-wheeler to hit a barrier wall and overturn.
The crash triggered a chain-reaction collision involving seven other vehicles.
Two people were airlifted to the hospital, and another was transported by ambulance.
More details about the accident were not released.
