Four Killed in Skidmore Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 359
Skidmore, Texas – Four people were killed on Saturday in a head-on collision between Skidmore and Tynan, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m., January 13, on Highway 359.
DPS said a 2006 Chevy Silverado was traveling northbound on the one-lane highway when it tried to pass other vehicles in the southbound lane, and crashed head-on into a 2021 Nissan Rogue.
Three teenagers in the Chevrolet, a 17-year-old male driver from Corpus Christi, a 17-year-old male passenger from Sandia, and a 16-year-old female passenger from Mathis, were killed in the crash.
A 21-year-old man from Arlington also was killed in the crash.
No other details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
