The deadly accident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on July 19 in the 13500 block of the East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10).
Houston, TX – A 43-year-old woman was hit and killed Saturday night after she had gotten out of her car during an argument in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on July 19 in the 13500 block of the East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10).
Police said a white Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound on the freeway when there was some type of disturbance inside the vehicle, which caused the driver to pull over onto the shoulder. The 43-year-old woman exited the vehicle and walked onto a moving lane of traffic, where she was struck by an eastbound black Honda Pilot.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The Honda driver, Morgan Lindsey Stabell, 32, was determined to have been impaired and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The police are investigating the accident.

Police said there was some type of disturbance in the woman’s vehicle when she asked the driver, a family member, to pull over so she could get fresh air. She then stepped onto the freeway and was hit.
The woman was killed in the accident. Her name has not been released.
The driver who hit the woman stayed at the scene and was being investigated for a DWI.
The police are investigating the accident.
