Laredo, TX – Five people were injured Sunday night in a rear-end collision in Laredo, according to the Laredo Police Department.
The collision occurred on September 14 in the 7100 block of Bob Bullock Loop in front of Taco Palenque.
Police said an 18-wheeler was stopped at a light when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck occupied by five people.
Two of the passengers, a 24-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman, were taken to Laredo Medical Center and Doctors Hospital in critical condition.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, was taken to LMC in critical but stable condition. Another passenger, also a 20-year-old man, was taken to Doctors Hospital in critical but stable condition.
A 20-year-old woman was taken to LMC with a foot injury and was listed in stable condition.
The 18-wheeler driver was uninjured in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
